Let’s Rethink CRM

RIM engaged Sockeye to help integrate Deltek Vision Financial application with Dynamics CRM for management and automation of Business Development processes. Sockeye created a integration with Deltek Vision and Microsoft SharePoint for collaboration of architectural documents across RIM’s multiple site locations. The solution delivered means for Business development to collaborate and react accordingly to opportunities based on current and historical data that RIM has acquired through its many years of delivering best in class architectural designs.

A Flexible, Robust Solution

After listening to what RIM was trying to accomplish and examining the current tools in place, Sockeye was able to recommend a solution that utilized all of RIM’s existing software. The solution was to deploy Microsoft Dynamics CRM to capture additional soft data that was not currently being captured in a reportable means, financial data from Deltek Vision was synchronized with CRM in real-time allowing Business Development staff to find historical projects and utilize this data with building new proposals. Windows SharePoint Services was deployed to address the need of document collaboration with the proposal process. Staff from all locations are able to access shared documents and leverage built-in functionality of SharePoint to assist with the proposal process.
