What we’d like to do…

As a forward thinking enterprise that has employees and clients that are geographically dispursed, Kakivik Asset Management continously seeks technological and process innovation.  This led Kakivik to engaging Sockeye to help replace their dated document management software, build an intranet site, and help make their employee earnings statements accessible online to their remote employees..

How about using what we already own…

After listening to what Kakivik was trying to accomplish and examining the current tools in place, Sockeye was able to recommend a solution that utilized all of Kakivik’s existing software and hardware investments.  The solution was to deploy Windows SharePoint Services to address the intranet site and document management requirements.  To help employees view and print their earnings statements, Sockeye used SQL Reporting Services reports imbedded within Kakivik’s SharePoint site.  Now employees can access their earnings statements, view company announcements, and view important manuals and safety documentation all from the same website.  .
